    Hey there,

When starting a business ultimately you want to figure out your "WHY" is it you started your business first and foremost. Yes your goals are important. Without goals your you wake up everyday fishing for things to do in your business. Your goals must be defined and detailed.

To give you some ideas you should look at competitors in your arena and see exactly what they are doing. This should give you some insight and thoughts of what you may want out of your business. This would be a good start. From there develop a plan with achievable goals every 12 weeks.

Make a to-do list every night before each work day so you wake up motivated to accomplish your tasks.

    Hopefully this helps,
    TJ

    Thank you.

That helped me a lot. I need all kind of support - that is great one.
I have started a buisness, but recently more i do it, the more it stresses me.
You got me more empowered and in need to think again why i started a buisness.

By now it is moderate success. I start be exaited about running my own company, and than when there is a need to talk with other people or get trough hard situation i give up and start do uninpornant things - one world procrestination.
When i have something important to do i have suddenly go running for 3 hours (my excuse is my overweight).

Is there someone here who could talk with me about that?

  7. Krzysztof,

It goes back to what TJ mentioned before you have to know your "WHY" to get to the root of your issue. Did you start a company to just start a company? Did you start a company cause you truly wanted to serve and help others? Did you start the company in that industry because it is something you are very passionate about? These are the things that you have to really sit down and evaluate. When pursuing dreams and goals your reasoning has to be bigger than you. What I mean by that is, when you are doing it for yourself your desire to give up like you mentioned is great because its easy for you to justify to yourself why you don't want to do it. When you have something bigger than yourself, example: children, parents, spouse...etc now these are people that are depending on you and are counting on you. Before we started our company I also ran into same issues you are currently having. I started other companies because I just liked the idea of saying I have my own business. Deep down though I really didn't have a true passion for it so I procrastinated and missed dead lines because to be honest it wasn't that important to me.

I had to sit down by myself and evaluate my life and figure out what it was I truly wanted to do and what my gift was. This took some time but finally I figured it out. I found my passion and that was to help others and talk. Side Note(If you knew me then you would really understand my statement of I like to talk ha) Found out a really close friend of mine was on the same path so we decided to create our company D&J Empowerment Group. After that the rest just started to fall into place. I go hard each and everyday and I don't have the same fears I had before because I now go in with confidence of what I am supposed to do. Now understand this, its not easy nor will it ever be but what I will tell you is, it gives you ability to plow through adversity because you are doing it not just for you but for others.

    I hope this helps

If you want to dive further into this let me know.

    Good Luck

It was the motivation advice i needed.
    Thank you!

I mean i know this stuff. Listening, and reading for very long time. But finally someone has some scrutinized what I mean. My scrap company is going, but sometimes i really dont know why i have started it. I guess i have no other options left in my life. (I had alcoholic addiction in my life and lost everything).
Now i dont drink for two years and have quite good life. I've been offered money and land by my grandmother and i started it. But cant find a goals bigger than me that would motivate me much, though i try.
I'm affraid only one thing - What happens when i do it for the loved ones and they will fail me?

  9. Thats awesome you have been sober for 2 yrs now. That is a amazing accomplishment.
Now when you say "What happens when I do it for loved ones and they fail you" what exactly do you mean
Elaborate on that for me so I can best understand where you are coming from with that question
