30 Days to set the habit of waking at 7am and executing my morning routine Motivation: Literally the most powerful thing I can do to literally transform every area of my life and make me prolfic proactive producitivity, gyal dem king gyal dem ting, confident, spiritually sound, fresh, fly, fit, healthy, sexy, better at piano, more taken care of! I accept that it's going to get really damn hard before it gets easier. But I am deadicated cause i understand the implications of this. As I'm in school right now this will help me BLAST my schoolwork to bits, get out there, impregnate the world with my music, be prolfic and generally leng shit down. I am making it easy for you by not stipulating a bed time. And you are allowed the option to back to sleep after you have successfully executed the morning routine. I am dedicated and I believe in this thing strongly. I am willing to go through discomfort and pain because I know it will feel soooooooo goood on the other side. For patience, understanding and belief I will record a voice demo where I give myself the juice. I will organize my enviroment to motivate me futher with signs on the wall and messages for my pocket. I will keep a journal of the habit in my little (big) black book. Wake up at 7AM EVERYDAY EXECUTE MORNING ROUTINE *Alarm Rings* look across at environment image -Feed Conscious Mind with Video & Quick Voice memos -Affirmations -Read WWAD -Light workout -Bathe -Meditation - -David Mcgraw Affirmations -Visualize/Consider Goals -PUMP UP FOR LENGING AND Read Day Plan [self care + food] -Record for ten mins/ if no material, write a song I start TMRW. Currently this morning r My FOCUS is moreso on the WAKING UP AT 7. The Morning Routine will be tweaked and I will add additional enviromental changes to help me stick to the habit as a I proceed. I will write in this journal everyday as a progress report
Day 1 - FAIL Since this is a habit does it count as a day if I failed?? I woke at 7:20 instead of 7:00am. To set a habit u have to do it consistently for about 30 days. If day 1 was a fail may as well make today day 1 no? Deal. The morning routine was pretty good. Did some rearranging. Most important things go before bath. -very light morning fully body wake up -affirmations -read wwad and Goals -Meditation use a YouTube guided one -Bathe -MP3 affirmations Tmrw Wake Mornin routine Get ready Prep Mind Hit hit island Politic confidently - speak assertively -EQUALS Home Finish recording a song Start a new one Work on RP prepare affirmations Prepare mind for school
dAY 2 - Win Day 3 - Win I feel like this habit has potential to get shaky. im going to have to introduce more positive factors Wake MOrning routine Get Fly -> School 8:40 Socialize Look For Corder Lime for a bit (?) Work on RP in library.
Day 4 This challenge needs more strictness . The habit is not being set tightly enough! Day4 was a win technically but I lapsed. Today Wake Morning routine Record Quick pd School Approach Study Corder Home Record PD Gyal dem
OK.. I've come with a better approach. I've really come to realize that waking up early in the morning puts me in a real position of power. Like staying up late is cool, but I can go so much harder If I charge my batteries, wake up on FIRE, And LENG DOWN all my activites one by one . Defo, as an artist/student this is the way to go. So with that being said, My new wake up time will be 6:00 am. The idea is to wake up firing on all cylinders. Today went well tho Day 5 - Win.
Day 6 - fail Ok. I've switched my approach a bit. So. The strict 7 o clock isn't really the best approach. I'm going for 6 today.
STRETCH YOURSELF… by Jake Duran To stretch or not to stretch… I am a nerd. I not only exercise my brain, I also exercise my body. I am now a firm believer of exercising after getting the results of my annual physical exam. LOL. …I do dragon boat three times a week. …I also box three times a week. …I plank for four minutes and eighteen seconds straight daily. …I also run for 20 minutes a day. This whole routine started about a month ago (except for planking and running which I started more than three months ago). If you would want to know if it was easy, I’ll honestly answer that it was not. It was hard starting this routine. But believe me that it is all worth it, and these activities sort of complement each other. http://jakeduran.com/improve-your-muscle-memory-through-overload-principle/
