Reality is harsh GGG.....like the fact that our lovely Lord
was nailed on a wooden cross ....hanging and bleeding
into the death.
Some people are so cruel....you should not believe it.
Why are some people so rude.
They are so selfish....no love for any other soul......
not even for their own maker.....only I.
Therefore is His crucifiction a great symbolic value.
The standing beam is standing for......I
The message Jesus is demonstrating is........
cross out the I......be unselfish....that will bring happiness
not only today ............but for all eternity.

 

Henk, reality is what you make it. That you choose to see whats wrong and focus (want seems to be all of) your energies towards whats wrong in no way nullifies whats beautiful.

You seem to forget that the life of Jesus was more than that single incident you highlight above, and that he, at the core of his message, spoke of Love and Understanding faaaaar more often than of death or evil.

Sure, there are some cruel people, but, there are far more wondrous Souls.
Sure, there are some rude people, but there are far more happy graceful people.
Sure, there are some selfish people, but there are faaaaar more Kind, Sharing, Caring Loving Angels right here on Earth.

There's a saying ..... You get what it is you look for. I think if choose to look, you'll find Jesus spoke often about that simple truth.
